When they called again to reschedule, I was told the job would take one and a half hours to complete, and it would be easier to guarantee the job get done if we drove to the shop. This really was inconvenient for our family. It seemed they only had one service tech who was doing all of the work, so the availability to get the job done was low. My husband ended up taking the vehicle to the shop, and once he got there, he was told the job would be two to two and a half hours, and that's exactly how long it took. Our decision to reschedule AND GO to the shop was based on numerous things, including the hour and a half of time that was quoted, and we made concessions to make it work. I am not happy with the time that was wasted out of our day (and other days where we had planned for them to come, though we understand that unexpected things do happen), that could have been done with them making time to come to us, which was one of the reasons we chose Safelite in the first place. I guess we will know better for next time.
Quality and Value of service I put as excellent because I'm rating the job that I needed to get done.
I'm sure the company could make it easier for the tech, and people the tech are helping, in some way.
