Had two dings in my windshield repaired, one was good but the other not so much. There are now two cracks in the glass, that were not there before, on each side of the ding about an inch long each. Disappointed that it was made worse than it was. Hoping the cracks don't run.

The repair process is only an attempt to save the integrity of the glass, at times the repair may still be visible depending on the size (width and depth) of the chip. If at any time the repair spreads and or you are unhappy with the repair; that amount will be credited toward the full replacement of your windshield. Technician said due to how bad the chip was it would probably still be noticeable after repair, and it is. He also said the chip could still spread across the windshield and it looks like it will. If it does spread, how much would it cost to replace the windshield?

Hi Jerry. Our repair guarantee means that if the damage should spread, your out of pocket cost will be credited toward a full replacement. If your insurance covered the cost, they will be refunded and your claim is switched from repair to replace.
