The final straw, my car was returned and I asked about my state inspection stickers to which the one technician looked at the other and mouthed, "he didn't put the stickers back on." The other technician told me that this is more of a courtesy and they don't typically put the stickers back on. I said, "so if a cop stops me on the way home, what do I tell them?" Naturally, he said, "tell them that you just got your window replaced and someone would be sending a re-registration form in the mail to me." I called Safelite customer service and they said certain states are not allowed to have stickers placed back on and NY happened to be one of them. They transferred me to the specific shop that worked on my car, to which I received the answer that my inspection stickers were not expired and the technician should've put them back on my new windshield. This associate was very helpful and understanding and even apologized for the situation (Michelle). They put them in the mail to me that day., In closing, I will not be using their services the next time my windshield is damaged and most definitely not referring the actual company to any third parties.
