Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor workmanship I was going to give a 3 star rating, until the issues with the second visit. Brought car in to replace windshield. Desk clerk came out of shop for me to sign some papers. He then said that the tech noticed I needed new wiper blades. The same wiper blades I replaced just a month earlier. Really???? No I did not replace them. After about an hour the desk clerk said my car was ready, handed me my keys and I left. When I got in the car the remote start reciever was positioned over the passenger side of the window, sideways. As I had two other appointments to be at I didn't have time to have them relocate it properly and planned on bringing it back the next day. Later in the day when I got back in the car the reciever was off the window hanging by the wires. Looking at the back of the receiver to see why it fell off one could see that there use to be a double sided pad on the back. It appeared that when it was removed from the cracked windshield most of it was probably still attached to the old windshield with only bits and pieces still left on the reciever. No attempt was made to properly reattach it. Next day I went back to the store. Showed the clerk the issue. He agreed it was not reattach properly and could offer no explanation as to why the work had not been done. I showed him how it should look attached properly and he said he would take care of it. 10 to 15 minutes later he tells me it's fixed and hands me the keys. I go out to the car and find the reciever mounted vertically but still mounted over the passenger side of the window. I go back in the shop, throw him the keys and told him the repairs are not done correctly. I would guess he never told the tech how it should have been mounted. The desk clerk went out and relocated it himself. How long is that going to last since some/most of the adhesive is now gone? I then left the store. But that wasn't the end. As I am driving down the road I find the steering wheel sticky from what I assume was the glue/adhesive used to mount the reciever. Thanks Safelight! Next car window repair will go to a competitor and I will share my experience with others.
