Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Experience Find another provider for your window replacement. Everything seemed fine up front, the cost was high for my replacement but the company seemed reputable. I arrived early for my appointment by 20 minutes and by around 15-25 minutes after my scheduled 11am appointment a technician who had just finished another car came out and started helping a customer with an 11:30am scheduled appointment. I let him know that my appointment was at 11am and the tech got very argumentative then simply stuck his hand out and said "give me your keys" no handshake or whole ordeal that I witnessed with other customer during my wait. After finally getting my car in things went fine until afterwords. I recently bought new wiper blades and replaced them about 30 minutes after my replacement window and things went fine. However when I went to drive next I noticed a chip near the wiper. I immediately submitted this to Safelite and they sent someone out Monday afternoon. At this point it was still a chip 48 hours later. The tech said it likely happened when I replaced the wiper and the blade must have hit the window. I don't recall it hitting the window but after his explanation it does line up so that must have been what happened. I the asked the technician to have a repair set up so that the chip does not spread. He assured me that I would get a call by COB Monday the same day. Fast forward to Wednesday afternoon and the chip has now spread and is not repairable. I called asking why I hadn't received a call and got the run around. If this had been treated with hast the chip could have been repaired and the original technician told me that it looked like a repair was an option. But due to the neglect by their "system" my window now needs replacement. To add insult to injury when I asked to speak to a manger to explain I was put on hold for 5 minutes and then transferred to the "quality" manger who did not answer. I called back and asked for him finally getting through. He assured me he would call me back later the same day and of course with that Safelite assurance I did not receive a call until the end of the next day.. At which point they offered a replacement for a discounted price of 200 which is not acceptable as I was not willing to pay anymore than a chip repair price at that point. Long story but the point is that that customer service is clearly missing from the Safelite culture and at no point in this process did I feel helped or valued as a customer who chose to us their service. I will never go here again.
