Before that, however, was nothing less than unprofessional. It took 4 separate attempts to get my vehicle the right windshield/molding, and every time it was “not my problem, someone else’s fault” from the customer-facing representatives and managers I interacted with.
My first mobile tech arrived, started the service, and called me out to share that the molding was missing on the windshield. No problem, things happen. He said the shop would call and reschedule. That never happened.
After I called to schedule another tech, I was ghosted (no call/no show) by the mobile tech. 10 hours of my time now wasted.
When I called the shop again, I asked to file a complaint. The woman on the other end went “uh huh, mhm. Ok. Reported” and set up a new service for me.
The morning of the service, I got a call from the shop that “someone” had forgotten to order the parts, and they’d have to rebook me. Rest assured I got a nice earful about how someone else in the company made the error, so it wasn’t their fault.
The icing on the cake was when I was at the shop finally getting a repair. The front desk attendant called someone to deliver news they’d need to be rescheduled, and I watched her say:
“Yes, you can file a complaint with me - go ahead” and proceed to not move at all. After a few seconds, she says (without having written or typed anything), “ok it’s recorded, thank you”.
I asked if she had record of my complaint. She did not. I asked to speak to the manager, who listened to my speak before saying “I don’t know what to tell you”.
Horrible service, horrible company policy of “not my fault not my problem”.
